Tobermory and the Bruce Trail

We took our kids to Tobermory (start of the Bruce Trail) in the summer and stayed at a cottage on Cameron Lake. They enjoyed hanging out on the beach. They also enjoyed kayaking and just being lazy which is a real change of pace since they are competitive swimmers. It was great walking around town & watching ships and boats passing by. Gift shops of different knick knacks kept the interest up as well. As food there’s the ever popular “The Fish and Ships Place”. You’ll choices the regular fare of burger’s, fries and pizza. Tobermory also boast of BeaverTails. The pastry shop that Barack Obama just had to have a taste of when he made a visit to Ottawa.

But, I wonder how it looks like in the winter? Was beautiful in the summer, must be gorgeous in the winter. Have you been there? – http://ow.ly/h5GGZ
